Why White & Brown Free Range Omega 3 Eggs?

freerange_omega3_brown_and_white_contentIt has been 18 years since Rabbit River Farms began producing Canada’s first Certified Organic Free Range eggs. During that time brown egg laying hens have become synonymous with healthy, humane, cage free egg farming. As Canada’s leading advocate of improving living conditions for chickens, we want to show that white hens can also thrive in a Cage Free environment.

We are frequently asked if there are differences between white and brown eggs. While the nutritional value is the same – the rest we’ll leave to you to decide! It is my hope that the introduction of these Free Range Omega 3, eggs will help move future generations of white egg laying hens out of cages and improve the quality of their lives.
